Something people lack..

3.	touch or the sense of touch.

There is a reason I keep to myself at work. Ever since they moved everyone over and practically forced us to socialize with each other I realize more and more that I need a better job. Yesterday, I was at work and I happened to be floor walking (which really encases of me standing around answering questions while getting paid and NOT having to call people) when the 3 hyenas around me start talking about me while I was standing there. I was amazed at how stupid they thought that talking “quietly” (or their version of quiet) that I still wouldn’t be able to hear what they were saying. Girl # 3 I’ll call her basically said how they either want me to join the conversation but don’t eavesdrop or something and then the girl who sits next to me, we’ll call her Girl #2 (who, I still maintain, is a stain on the universe) proceeds to tell everyone else that I’m a follower and starts talking about my mother. Girl #1 wasn’t even supposed to be sitting over in our section but also had something to say but since she sounds stupid each time she talks I automatically block anything she says.

That IMMEDIATELY set me off. At first I was going to laugh at the ignorance but since I preferred to not stoop to that level I just pretended I wasn’t listening. Now, what amazes me is that they have SO many judgements and the like about me but can’t fix the problems in their own lives which they OPENLY tell the entire floor.

Girl # 1 just had a baby and proceeded to tell anyone who would listen last week that her and her mom(yes, her mom) about how they got jumped by a group of girls and her mom is going back to jail again. And of course the icing on the cake would be about her baby daddy drama.

Girl # 2 hasn’t received her high school diploma and has had 3 kids at 23. She constantly talk about her boyfriend who is in jail who she constantly gives money to and spends, she states, about “$500″ a month on. Also tells everyone how to cheat the system, drives a Lexus, and yes, is receiving public assistance. And I can’t stand to listen to her talk since she adds a “s”  on words that don’t need it.

Girl #3 I don’t have a problem with. Although all she ever talks is her brother in jail.

And yet anytime I’m talking about something with someone else they always want to ask me questions about what I’m talking about to. Call me a follower all you want, I definitely don’t follow any of them and those I do follow, are going somewhere else other than jail to go visit our jailed boyfriends and such. It shouldn’t bug me what they’re saying but it just amazed me they thought they were being discreet. It doesn’t even matter now since they’re all moving to a different department and now I’ll get to speak to people who have some sort of intelligence and agenda other than getting pregnant.

I’ll shrug it off and move on to something better soon. As far as I’m concerned, this is all dirt of my shoulder. As far now, I’m definitely going back to school to finish my degree so I don’t have to deal with these people ever again.
